(1) Albert Einstein's wife often advised him to dress more professionally when he went to work. Einstein would always say, "Why should I wear this? Everyone knows me there." But when he had to attend a big conference for the first time, his wife urged him to dress up. Einstein replied, "Why should I wear this? Nobody knows me there!"

(3) Einstein was often asked to explain the theory of relativity. He once explained, "If you put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, it feels like an hour. If you sit with a beautiful girl for an hour, it feels like a minute. That's relativity!"

(4) While Albert Einstein was working at Princeton University, he forgot his home address one day while returning home. The taxi driver did not recognize him. Einstein asked the driver if he knew Einstein's house. The driver said, "Who doesn't know Einstein's address? Everyone in Princeton knows it. Do you want to meet him?" Einstein replied, "I'm Einstein. I forgot my home address, can you take me there?" The driver dropped him off at his home and didn't even charge the fare.

(5) Once Einstein was traveling by train from Princeton. When the ticket-checking conductor approached him, Einstein reached into his jacket pocket but couldn't find his ticket. Then he checked his pants pocket, but it wasn't there either. Then he searched his briefcase, but couldn't find his ticket. Then he looked near his seat, but still couldn't find his ticket.

The conductor said, "Dr. Einstein, we know who you are. I'm sure you bought a ticket. Don't worry." Einstein nodded appreciatively. The conductor moved forward. When he looked away, he saw the great scientist bending down and looking under the seat for his ticket.

The conductor immediately returned and said, "Don't worry, Dr. Einstein. I know who you are. You don't need a ticket. I'm sure you've bought one." Einstein replied, "Young man, I know who I am. But I don't know where I'm going."

(6) When Einstein met Charlie Chaplin:

#Einstein said,

"What impresses me most about your art is its universality. You don't say a word, yet the world understands you."

To this Charlie Chaplin replied,

"That's true, but your fame is more than that. The world admires you, yet no one understands you."
