The seventh match of the ACC Eastern Region T20 was played today at the Terdthai Cricket Ground, Bangkok, between Nepal and Thailand, where Nepal defeated Thailand by 9 wickets. Thailand won the toss and batted first, scored 66 runs loss of 10 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. In which Henno Jordan scored 13 runs in 29 balls, Phiriyapong Suanchuai 13 runs in 16 balls, Naveed Pathan scored 8 runs in 5 balls, Ziaul Hoque scored 5 runs in 14 balls and Chanchai Pengkumta scored 4 runs in 10 balls. In this way, Thailand won the toss and batting first scored 66 runs in 10 overs losing 10 wickets and set a 67-run target for Nepal.

 

In the second innings, Nepal chased down 66 runs, losing 1 wicket in 5.3 overs and easily won the match by 9 wickets, with Kushal Malla unbeaten 36 off 18 balls, Pawan Sarraf not out 27 runs in 10 balls. And Paras Khadka scored 9 runs in 5 balls. Aminuddin Ramli scored 23 off 15 balls, Mohammad Arif scored 15 runs in 16 balls and Khizar Hayat scored 13 runs in 6 balls. Thus, Nepal chased 66 runs in the second innings, losing 1 wicket in 5.1 overs to make 71 runs and won the match easily by 9 wickets.
