The fifth match of Pakistan Super League 2021 was played yesterday between Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans at National Stadium Karachi, in which Peshawar Zalmi defeated Multan Sultans by 6 wickets.

Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and invited Multan Sultans to bat first, Multan Sultans batted first and scored 193 runs after losing 4 wickets in 20 overs. Multan Sultans had not very well, Mohammad Rizwan and Chris Lynn came to start the inning, first wicket gone very quickly just in 6 runs, Chris Lynn was dismissed just for 1 runs in 4 balls, after that James Vince came to bat and handled inning and profomed half-century patnership with Mohammad Rizwan, second wicket fell in 88 runs, Mohammad Rizwan dismissed after playing brillint inning of 41 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 3 boundries in 28 balls, next batsman Sohaib Maqsood came to bat, and handled the inning and profomed another half-century patnership with James Vince, third wicket fell in 159 runs, Sohaib Maqsood dismissed for 36 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 4 boundries in 21 balls, next batsman Rossouw came for bat, and played well with James Vince, mainwhile fourth wicket also gone in 186 runs, James Vince dismissed after playing brillient half-century inning of 84 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 9 boundries in just 55 balls, after that next batsman Khushdil Shah came for bat and played unbeaten inning of 6 runs, and ended the inning with Rossouw, Rossouw also played an unbeaten inning of 14 runs in 8 balls. In this way, Multan Sultans batted first after losing the toss, scored 193 runs losing 4 wickets in 20 overs, and set a target of 194 runs in front of Peshawar Zalmi.

In this way, Peshawar Zalmi chasing 194 runs in the second inning achieved the target very easily by losing just 4 wickets in the 19th overs and won the match by 6 wickets.

Multan Sultans bowlers Shahnawaz Dhani took 2 wickets, and Usman Qadir got 1 wicket.
