Katrina had to change the school many times. This Katrina was thirteen years old when Susana read an article about Felt Alcohol Syndrome and sent Katrina to a specialty clinic in a test. The result of the test came to know that due to alcohol, Katrina's brain had suffered heavy losses in the womb. This information was shocking to swing. She says, "I was astonished, she had a disease which cannot be cured. Even if I can find the treatment I like, it will be as many things as she would take it to the doctors." Katrina also started to understand the reason for the people's behavior with her. Katrina said, "When mother told me that I am a FASD, then I understood why I am so angry, why I am so different from all the others." This Katrina is not alone. In Germany every year five thousand children are born with this syndrome. It is more common than Down syndrome, and cannot be detected by looking at their disease.
