They both deserve a trophy

I would say Rangers deserve to win a trophy this season because regardless of the club you support you can see Rangers were amazing this season and their effort deserved to be crowned.  

G. van Bronckhorst has been impressive since he was appointed as Rangers coach, keeping up their standard and giving them the Scottish Cup since 2008/2009. 

They played against heart yesterday in the final and after they lost the Europa League to Frankfurt in a penalty shootout, I didn’t believe they would be able to play another 120 minutes. Heart was also at their top performance this season in a long time, finishing third in their league with 61 points. The match ended in a goalless 90 minutes but Rangers were quick to find the net not just once but twice in the first 15minutes of the game with goals from Ryan Jack and Scott Wright. 

The world of football is definitely proud of them and mostly their manager because he didn’t sound confident enough in his pre-match speech considering how the Europa league loss might have affected them. At least they didn’t win the Europa but they didn’t end the season on a no trophy record. 

Leipzig also has been one team to talk about for some years now as they have been super impressive but couldn’t add a trophy to their name for 10 years now but yesterday the deadlock was broken and they did it in style. 

Why I said in style was that they were able to hold Freiburg despite being shown a red card in 57 minutes and also losing by one goal but they proved they are a better team getting an equalizer back which is in courtesy of Nkunku. 

The red card didn’t stop there as they were shown another in the 30 minutes extra time making it 2 red cards. The penalty shootout was the only way to decide the winner and Freiburg was just too poor at it. 

The is Leipzig's first trophy since they were promoted to the Bundesliga. 

What a good season it is for both teams and I which to see more of them next season in their various league and mostly in European leagues too
