I know at this point my opinion doesn’t change a thing but I would like for a lot of people who come across this write-up to know the real truth about the awards won in the premier league 2021/2022 season.
Before you judge me or say otherwise, I want you to pay close attention to the fact I will be stating and even if we don’t agree on the same page due to maybe favoritism, I would be glad that deep down in your heart of heart or mind of minds you know this is true.
I will start with the 2021/2022 Premier league manager of the year which Jorgen Klopp has won and I feel he deserves it because he won both the Cardinals cup and the Fa cup, he is also currently in the Champions League final which Liverpool will play against Real Madrid. His team was also second on the league table.
Next, I’m moving on to the best player of the premier league 2021/2022 which we could all tell that Kevin De Bryne does not deserve it. His team won just the premier league and he didn’t top the highest assists or topping the highest goal scorer which makes me wonder why was he given the best premier league player of the year. This award should be based on individual performance and not teamwork and what I mean is it should be based on what you archived yourself and not what the whole team Achieved. This award shouldn’t be given to you just because your club won the league.
Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying KDB is not a good player, he is one of the best midfielders in the world, he scored a total of 15 goals and he did 8 assists. I know most of you would say he did well as a midfielder but don’t forget a lot of times this season De Bryne was used in the striking role. Salah topped both the highest goal scorer sharing the award with H-m Son and also the top assist. H-m son which I felt deserved this award regarding how poor his team started this season and where they finished on the table in which he also scored a total of 23 goals with no penalty and also had 7 assists this season. He also becomes the first Asian to win the golden boot in England.
Jaoa Cancelo made the most complete pass this season, Maximin made the most successful dribble this season, Bruno Fernandez topped the player who created the most chance this season, he wasn’t the fastest player in the league, he wasn’t the player who did the most successful tackles. My point is he didn’t top any area in the premier league. De Bryne didn’t win any player of the month in the just-finished season which makes me wonder WHY WAS HE GIVEN THE PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD?
Kevin de Bryne is a very nice player but I feel he is overrated right now, I didn’t even mention most of the matches he was needed but was nowhere to be found and he had to be substituted.
I know the award has already been given but I just want you all to know he didn’t deserve it and why England FA sucks. Well, I say my congratulations to him and I wish him the best of luck...
