Russia, South Korea and China have all made accusations about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in the past.  India is currently seeking to outlaw cryprocurrency due to its role in money laundering and potential "ponzi schemes" like Bitconnect.  India has shut down cryprocurrency exchanges including Coindelta and others on the past.  China's potential banning of cryptocurrency mining seemed troublesome, like India's ban.  Eight Chinese mining firms essentially control Bitcoin's mining operations, and the blockchain ledger.  Russia has been interested in cryptocurrency regulation, and like the United States has been permissive of its usage.  Africa and South America have embraced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, and their population dynamics support further growth.  According to the U.N., there are more young people alive then ever before at 1.8 billion, with huge concentrations in South America and Africa.  During the Venezuelan crisis, Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dash were so widely used that the prices soared, indicating a reduction in supply and an increase in demand. While the news of a cryptocurrency ban in a nation of 1-billion people seems troubling for the market, it has not happened yet.  South America and Africa are adopting cryprocurrency quickly, and assets like DASH and Bitcoin look solid.  Keep an eye out for developing news, and look forward to the Bitcoin Halving next year.
