There's no link between selling humor and kidnapping, says comedian OkonLagos
Comedian OkonLagos has said there is no link between selling humor and kidnapping.
Recall that he clashed with filmmaker Frank Ufomadu on Sunday over his comment berating women who don't ask their friends about their source of income.
Okon agreed with singer RudeBoy that most girls don't inquire about their friends' livelihoods and only spend the money he gives them. According to Okon, women who spend criminal funds are enablers and accomplices and should be treated on an equal footing with criminals.
Frank disagreed with Okon, pointing out that entertainers who organize shows and set up their table tickets for up to N5 million do not ask what those who pay for these tables do for a living to make them spend such an amount, just to to watch them perform
Okon fired back and they had a bit of an exchange. Now, Okon has shared a new post in which he explained that there is no connection between selling humor and kidnapping. In his opinion, a crime enabler is someone who enjoys the bounties of unverified and questionable financial sources without making any attempt to know to distance themselves from, or to embarrass or correct, such a source.
