With the new electric vehicle policy to be introduced soon, the auto industry is making efforts to take advantage of the incentives. In a recent development, Tesla Industries (not to be confused with the American Electric Vehicle Company) introduced a super-fast EVX charger to Foreign Minister Shah Mahmoud Qureshi. Yesterday, Tesla Industries released a photo and video of the event, in which a company representative provided a quick shipper guidance to the State Department's Secretary of State. Tesla Industries is reported to be claiming that it can fully charge an electric vehicle in 30 minutes.
Tesla Inc. is not to be confused. In the USA, Tesla Industries is a Pakistani company that is a large-scale manufacturer of solar panels, power regulation equipment, inverters and other equipment of a similar nature. The company began producing and installing chargers for electric cars in Islamabad last month. Sardar Yasser Elias, Chairman of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, inaugurated the first electric vehicle charger on April 9, 2021.
On April 30, the company announced that its fast charger had successfully charged the Audi E-Tron SUV from 0 to 100 percent in 35 minutes. The car was charged by a Tesla Industry 120 kW EVX fast charger.
The company claims that it seeks to provide an infrastructure solution to Pakistan's thriving electric and hybrid vehicle market by manufacturing and installing advanced fast charging stations across the country. He adds that the goal is to encourage people and enable them to easily transition to environmentally friendly transportation in a fast and comfortable way.
