This is associated with their lifestyle.
Ikigai stands for what you get out of bed for every day and what it is worth living for.
What is your passion, your Ikigai? Ikigai is that part where your passion, mission, calling and profession come together.

Masazo Nonako, who was the oldest man in the world at 113 years. He died last year.


1) Stay physically active
A sitting existence is the most enemy of youth. Get more exercise every day. A lot of sitting still is not good for you.
After 30 minutes it is good for you to move. This prevents all processes in your body from deteriorating and if you have
40 mins. or longer sitting still without using your muscles will deteriorate all your body functions in your body.
2) Strong social contact
Many people in Okinawa are in a 'moai', an informal group. This group meets regularly and supports each other, socially and financially
3) Limit stress
Live consciously in the moment of now and here. Meditation can have a positive influence on stress.
