According to Massimiliano Allegri, the team's coach, the morale of the players was shattered following their exit from the Europa League semi-finals. The defeat against Sevilla marked a turning point for Juventus, plunging their season into darkness.

Just a few days prior, Juventus had been performing well in Serie A, comfortably securing a position within the top four and being considered strong contenders for the league title. However, their hopes were dashed after successive losses, including the defeat against Sevilla. In addition to these on-field setbacks, Juventus also faced a penalty of 10 points in the league, further diminishing their chances of finishing in the top four.

Reflecting on the season's end, coach Massimiliano Allegri expressed deep disappointment. He attributed the team's broken morale to their loss against Sevilla, highlighting the significant impact it had on the players.

Juventus faced a 3-2 defeat against Sevilla in the Europa League semi-finals. The Spanish club emerged victorious with a 2-1 win at home, following a 1-1 draw in the first leg.

Despite their exit from the European competition, Juventus remained hopeful of securing a top-four finish in Serie A. However, their aspirations were dealt a severe blow when they were docked 10 points due to various irregularities related to a transfer agreement. As a result, they plummeted to seventh place in the points table.

Subsequently, Juventus suffered a 4-1 defeat against Empoli in the league, further diminishing their chances of a top-four finish. Their hopes were ultimately extinguished with a 1-0 loss to AC Milan in their most recent match. After 37 matches, Juventus currently sits in seventh place with 59 points.

During an interview with DAZN following the AC Milan match, coach Allegri stated that their season effectively ended with their exit from the Europa League. He expressed sadness over the situation and acknowledged that the team ran out of mental energy during the match against Sevilla. Despite this setback, Allegri praised the team for their overall performance throughout the season, excluding the 10 penalty points.

Allegri also made reference to the ups and downs of football, likening it to the unpredictable nature of life. He expressed confidence in Juventus' ability to recover from this challenging situation. Furthermore, he highlighted the impact of their point deduction, suggesting that other teams secured Champions League qualification as a result of Juventus' penalty.
