UPDATE: Serey registration, Global API, Serey Marketplace, Serey secret app, Serey DEX (31-12-2018)

 Hello everyone, I hope everyone is enjoying their holidays. As we are quickly sliding into 2019, I'd like to share with you some before-end-of-year updates. ### Serey registration One issue we have had since the launch of Serey is that many Cambodians are not familiar with the use of e-mail. At first, registration required two verification e-mail that are sent to the registrant. The past few weeks we have had tested a new registration system for Cambodian users that requires OTP over mobile phone devices. It significantly simplifies the registration. The good news is that we have released this feature several days ago - yes, we've been working during Christmas holidays as well. This is a great step forward for the people in Cambodia. ### Global API We have also been working on a Global API that will simplify connecting new applications on the Serey blockchain. The work on the Global API will be finished this week. This brings me to the following point. ### Serey Marketplace One such applications that we can build on top of Serey is a Marketplace. At this moment, Cambodia has a very weak e-commerce industry. We will enter this market through a Serey Marketplace application where users can offer and buy goods online. Online payment methods will include Serey coins, and probably also more traditional ones like VISA and Mastercard to give users greater payment options. How far are we with the Marketplace? Developments have already started. Our design team has made a user interface that looks very slick. It's a great improvement over all e-commerce marketplaces currently available in Cambodia. ### Serey secret app There's one more application that our team has been working on. I cannot say anything about this application yet, except that it will be great for Serey users with an intellectual bend. It's currently in a prototype phase and the earliest designs look amazing ;) ### Serey DEX As many of you already know, Serey has its own Serey DEX (https://x.sereyexchange.io). You can already trade many coins on there as it is built on BitShares. The one coin missing at this moment is Serey coin. You can already find it on the DEX if you look for it, but the two-way-bridge between the DEX and coins on the Serey blockchain has not been finished yet. We're working together with developers from BitShares to get this done. As I don't want to overpromise anything - I wish it would've been finished in December 2018 as well - I'd like our community to expect the Serey coin to be listed in February although we are trying to finish it earlier. ### End-of-Year I'd like to thank everyone for being part of the Serey community. I understand that we are a small community still, but am certain that we will move on forward more boldly and grow much stronger in 2019.
