This struggle for survival can continue for many years. Just as India has been fighting Pakistani terrorism and Chinese expansionism for decades. The government wants the understanding between the army, air force and navy to be smooth round the clock. To that end, the Indian Army's new 'Western Theater Command' will be active against Pakistan throughout the year. The Northern Theater Command will be active against China. The security of the remaining three parts of the country will handle the remaining three commands. The Commander-in-Chief of the Army is in charge of the five commands, and General Bipin Rawat is currently in that position. These commands will be created by 2022.
China is preparing to deal with the fact that the Northern Theater Command will begin its area of ​​jurisdiction from the Karakoram Pass in Ladakh to the Kibathu outpost in Arunachal Pradesh. This division of the force will be in charge of a total of 3,46 km long Line of Actual Control along the Chinese border. This command will be headquartered in Lucknow. The Western Theater Command for Pakistan's Mokiblara is in charge of the Saltoro Ridge in the Siachen Glacier region, from Indira Kal to the end of Kutch in Gujarat. It will be headquartered in Jaipur.

In addition, there will be a third theater command ‘Peninsular Command’, headquartered at Thiruvananthapuram or Karwar. This command will look after the security of South India and Central India. The fourth is entirely the Air Force's own theater command and the fifth is fully naval command centered entirely on the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. This command will maintain the dominance of the Indian Army in the entire Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal. However, at this moment, the importance of Fort William in Calcutta may decrease.
At present, the Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy are jointly responsible for protecting the country's airspace. However, the headquarters of each Indian Army is close to one or another air force base. As a result, multiple departmental forces are in the same position, resulting in increased unnecessary costs. The Ministry of Defense is undergoing major reforms to curb this unnecessary expenditure and to further consolidate the work of the forces.

With the theater command, the army will be able to manage all its logistics and army very easily. Coordination will be developed between Army-Air Force-Navy. Three-quarters of the army will be under the same theater commander. At present Army-Air Force-Navy has a total of 18 commands. Together they will become three large and two small but powerful commands. The theater commander alone can manage all the resources. Starting from training, the operation will come under his control all at once. He does not have to rely on multiple agencies. This will create a war-ready army. And any operation will take less time to take action.
However, in order to achieve this integration, the three armies will have to gain enough momentum. For example, a command cannot be supported with the current strength of the Air Force. All the decisions of the Navy were taken from Delhi considering the Bay of Bengal and the coastal area of ​​the Arabian Sea. If there is a separate theater, it will also be difficult.
