Islam is a religion of peace and justice

No doubt that Islam is a religion of peace and justice, Islam teaches us love, peace, justice. It is against racism and removes it from socity. It is not a religion of terrorism but it is a religion of peace, and justice. You know that Islam is a religion of peace in the fullest sense of the word. The Qur'an calls it way "The paths of peace" {5.16}, It states the God abhors any disturbance of peace.{2.205}. The fact the root word of Islam is "Silm" which of Islam is the spirit of peace. One of God's names according to the Qur'an is As-Salam' which means peace moreover the Qur'an states that Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) was sent to the world asm mercyto mankind.{2.107}. A persual of the Qur'an shows that most verses of the Qur'an(and Iso Hadeeth) are based on peace and kindness either directly or indirectly the idea society, according to the Qur'an is Dar-as-salam, that is the no use of peace{10.25}. Islam atteches great importance to peace. In fact Islam can not afford not to be in a state of peace becouse Islam aims at spiritual progress intellectual development character building, Social refor educational activites and above all, missionary work these can be achived only in can atmosphare of peace and harmory. According to Islam peace is not simply an absence of war. Peace opens doors to all kinds of opporuniti are present in any given situation. It is only peaceful situtation that planned activitis are possible. It is for this reason that prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) went to great extents to establish peace at all costs. The Qur'an presents the universe as a model which is characterised by harmony and peace. {Al-Qur'an:36.40} When God created the heaven and earth. He so ordered things that each part might perform its function peacefullu without classing with any other. The Qur'an tells us that "It is not permissible for the sun to reach the moon nor does the night overtake the day, but each in an orbit is swimming". {Al-Qur'an:36.40} for billions of years, therefore the entire universe has been fulfilling its function in total harmony with divine plan.
