The Holy Quran has clearly described the history of Bani Israel and the rise and fall of other nations, which are still a lesson for the nations of the world today. In the same way, the Roman Empire, despite having existed for almost a thousand years, eventually fell due to many social and economic reasons. Also, there is a long list of nations that have tasted decline after their rise due to their misdeeds and weaknesses.
Undoubtedly, the rise and fall of nations and civilizations, evolution and decline, and social changes have been a serious topic of discussion by different Muslims and non-Muslims, scholars and philosophers in every era of human history. Allama Abd al-Rahman Ibn Khaldoun writes: "Just as a person first goes through childhood, then youth and old age, so nations also go through the same ups and downs. Just as death is a condition for life, in the same way nations must rise and fall." (The case of Ibn Khaldun). Further, Ibn Khaldun writes that: "People's prosperity or distress is the main reason for the rise and fall of nations." According to Ibn Khaldun, not only economic change but morals, institutions, psychological pressures, politics, social and geographical factors change the course of history or cause its decline.
Malpractice, wickedness and disobedience are common components: When wickedness, wickedness and injustice come collectively in a nation, destruction and destruction become its destiny. When we look at the evolution of human life, we see its direction towards collectivism and when they go against nature, forget the law of nature, disobey and disobey, turn away from the principles set by God Almighty and deviate. If they do, they will be caught by God Almighty. If the nations commit bad deeds collectively, it will be punished in the world. In this context, the destruction of various nations has been mentioned in the Holy Quran. In which these evils were found. It is mentioned in the following few verses. In the same way We reward the guilty nation" (Surat Yunus: 14).
It is proved from the study of the Holy Quran that nature does not differentiate between nations in the application of the principles of rise and fall of nations and destruction and destruction. The rules and principles that are for Jews and Christians are the same for the Muslim Ummah. The rules that are for the people of disbelief are the same for the people of faith. The principles of the Qur'an are irrevocable and no change is possible in them.

In modern history, the Mughal Empire was the last link in the rise and glory of the Muslims in the subcontinent, which lasted for a long time but eventually declined. According to the researchers, weak political and defense planning, neglecting to patronize science and inventions, non-observance of moral values, dishonesty, laziness, abandonment of duty, unfair distribution of income and wealth to a large extent, contradictions in the Muslim Ummah. And unnecessary differences are the main reasons for the downfall of the Muslim Ummah. Apart from this, distance from Quranic teachings are also signs of decline of Muslims.

Advocating the efforts of the Ummah to reform: To abandon the commandment of al-Moruf and Nahi an-ul-Munkar is no less than a worst tragedy for the Muslim Ummah because it is a fundamental goal.
