In today's world, more and more people are moving to cities in search of a better life. This raises the question of comparing city life with village life. There is a clear difference between these two lifestyles. First let us briefly discuss these two lifestyles before moving on to the differences between village life and city life

The main difference between village life and city life is the amenities. Many modern facilities available in the city make our life easy and efficient. Another important difference between village life and city life is the environment. Living in a village provides convenience closer to the natural lifestyle while living in a city keeps people away from nature. In fact, city life is affected by different types of pollution such as noise pollution, air pollution, etc. A village is quiet and peaceful and the villagers can enjoy the natural beauty. Another prominent feature of village life is that the villagers are more kind, friendly and enthusiastic than the city people. People living in cities are relatively busy, selfish and lonely compared to rural people

The advancing mechanized age began to change the rural areas established years ago. And so urban areas began to expand into villages. The establishment of factories and industries compacted the villages. But the methods are still in our hands as our way of living and living. It is a fact that a person in the race of development wants modern facilities and also peace of mind. Communicating with a person sitting in the other corner of the world and accessing anything at the push of a button is no longer a job for the faint of heart. But a person who is deprived of peace, emotions and feelings is running with the world leaving everything behind. Whether it is a city or a village life, living in every place and carrying out the routines of life has its own advantages and disadvantages.


Advantages of living in the city

No doubt you will agree that living in the city has many advantages. This is the reason why more and more people are leaving their native areas and villages and moving to cities.

What are the facilities that are not available in cities? From internet, any essential item, facility or service to complete your most difficult tasks in minutes is available in urban areas. Modern restaurants, parks, community centers, be it business exhibitions or various creative activities, are all characteristic of urban areas. They are characteristic of the regions.

Transport facilities in cities prove to be extremely useful for people who do not have access to facilities like their own cars. Convenience like metro service in Islamabad city and Lahore is a great boon for daily commuters from remote areas to the city. Similarly, there are services like offering travel facilities to the general public through various applications for citizens who own cars and vehicles. Which is not only increasing their income but also meeting the lack of luxury transport in cities. Similarly, airport, railway station and other travel facilities are available within minutes to access other regions or cities.

For this reason, cheap or expensive houses are easily available for rent or for sale in cities according to each locality.

Disadvantages of living in a city

Despite the conveniences and modern lifestyle, there are some disadvantages of living in the city. which we do not seem to be harmful or we ignore them altogether.

A hectic and noisy routine of life

Every person living in the city is suffering from the complaint of rush and lack of time. This is why everyone seems to be in a hurry and completing their tasks is their top priority.
Be it a hospital or a shopping mall, a general market or a busy highway, all places are crowded.

Traffic and air pollution problems

Lahore, one of the big cities, has been suffering from air pollution like smog for the past few years. There are various causes of such and other air pollution in urban areas including traffic, smoke, factories and other factors. This air pollution causes various diseases of skin, lungs and eyes. With increased traffic, traffic jams, fights and other problems become common.

In view of the rising inflation and the current conditions, the rest of the necessities of life are being deeply affected. There are many problems to be faced in living in urban areas and especially in big cities. Housing in cities is becoming more expensive than in villages and towns. Even in posh areas, newly developed areas like Dam, are now in demand in smaller areas and colonies.

Increased psychological problems

In urban problems where people are affected by conditions like traffic, pollution and inflation. At the same time, realities like psychological problems are also a part of our society. But such issues are not prioritized on a priority basis. Or it will not be out of place to say that these problems are not considered problems at all.

Advantages of living in rural areas
