[CRYPTO] Top ten opensource trading bots [LIST]

Greetings, Sereians! Few years ago we probably couldn't find a lot of this sort: *opensource* (yes, free and with open source!) trading bot. But time has passed and changed, and what we can see now, is multiple opensource trading bots on the wild! You even can choose what language do you prefer and what trading strategies you like.  Most of the bots are, of course, CLI applications (as they **should be** on objective reasons), but several even has GUI interface (mostly, web) to be comfortable for end user. Let's look on the market what's available right now! # Trading bot Trading bot uses some popular trading strategy (or strategies) to earn you some money. It's not the form of this small article/list to tell you about what trading strategies does exist and how they work. Please google for this task. # Arbitrage bot  Arbitrage bot uses a version of simple methodology: if we have two exchange with good volumes of the same cryptocurrency pair (let's say, bitcoin to ethereum: BTC/ETH), and we catch the moment when the price goes up on one exchange while going down on the other (**the spread appears!**), we could simply make two orders at the same time: one long, another short, on two exchanges. When price spread returns to its normal positions, we earned the spread amount. Neat and nice, but, sadly, the exchange comissions and limits are often eating a large pie of these trades. For the statistics I've got, we have approximate of 3 options of good spreads on high-volume exchanges and pairs per month. Each of the trade could give us approx of 2%, so it's the total of 6% per month per good pair. If you could find a lot of exchanges (with good volume and small comissions) and pairs (with good volumes) and set up the bot correctly, the earnings are totally up to you. # List of the top bots 1. Note 2: to set up most of this bots, you have to understand basics of: linux, command line/bash, coding/compiling, debugging, ubuntu/debian/centos/fedora, servers, web servers, networks, and chosen computer language (javascript or python, mostly). # Github statistics  P.S. On the github there are more than 400 repositories of bot sources! P.P.S. There are also some free bots, that are not opensource. We are not looking into them because of several reasons, but mainly because we can't trust large enough amounts of crypto to unknown developers (I'm not saying that they will still your money (they could tho), they just could be broken by hackers etc. etc.). # Feedback Would you like for me to test out some of these (or all?) bots and publish some statistics/info on them?
