The approaching apparition soon developed into a man. He caught one of the hooligans by his hand, twisted it and hurled him away. The poor man flew in the air and hit the nearby tree with an impact that dumbed him prostrate on the ground. The other man, with a drunken move, tried to punch the new comer but his elbow was punched in midair by her saviour. The hand made a loud breaking sound which was punctuated with an uppercut that saw the man kissing the ground abruptly. The two never rose up from the ground.

The man, whom Dina discovered was her own Keya took hold of her hand and they showed a clean pair of heels out of the forest. The chore of collecting firewood was abandoned completely. That is when Dina's love for Samuel blosommed. They were now a couple and were planning to we'd as soon as possible.

Samuel was a gentleman and soon send a delegation to ask for her hand in marriage. At first Lidigu vehemently denied having a girl of marriageable age when Samuels uncle had asked him of their plan to marry Dina and Samuel.

Samuel's uncle, Agengo, had cleared his throat when their delegation of 7 people was welcomed by Lidigu and some elders of their clan.

"One of our sons has seen a flower in this compound and he has come to ask for permission to pluck it." Said Samuel's uncle.

"Men of the Abayonga clan, I salute you all," Lidigu greeted Samuel's Entourage. All responded. "Thank you for honouring me with your visit. Unfortunately, the flowers I have in my compound are not mature enough to be plucked."

Samuel's group could not accept to be put off so easily. They cajoled and pleased until Lidigu was forced to call the girls to come and parade before the guests. Unfortunately all the girls were young ones. Dina was not in the group. Samuel was devastated.
