How Important Are Votes?
Sometimes one has to stop and ponder what will happen in Serey if there was no voting. There will be plenty of quality posts which stand there with nothing to show for it. Then, perhaps, I say perhaps, the post will start to dwindle to extinction. Yes, there will be no posts and most probably no Serey. Or, Serey will be there, yet, occasionally, one will throw in a post.
The above story looks like a piece of fantasy or something out of a movie, yet it is a fact. Votes define Serey. Votes make Serey. Serey and votes are inseparable. Remove the votes and you will be removing posts and the posters unless another method comes into force.
Votes pay us! The better the quality and the appealing of a post, the better it earns. Posts which fail the quality test will end up earning little or no rewards. This is defined by the votes it receives. The articles falling below the quality mark are often downvoted.
What Happens When You Vote?
I read one interesting story about bees. Their stinging is done as a last resort. When a bee stings, part of the abdomen comes out with the sting and finally the bee will die. Before it kicks its last, it ensures it disturbs the prey by entering into any opening it can gain access to.
Votes, like stings, do lessen ones power by a certain percentage. The more you vote is the more your power goes down.
The percentage vote matters too. If you are used to voting 100% then your power dwindles faster as compared with one who votes 10%. One should understand the sacrifice done by the votes in all cases.
A vote will earn one a curation reward after seven days. It therefore stands, a voter does not go away empty handed.
A vote will either increase or decrease the earning of a post. An upvote will increase while a downvote will decrease the payout.
Reservation Voting
This is whereby a person reserves their voting. They only vote on posts which are very high quality. They may reserve their voting percentage.
There happens to be many sereyans who fall in this category. Few of them, however, are not reserved in their voting.

It is of little use or no use at all reserv voting because you will
come back to 100% power again within 24 hour. Everybody here
should vote as many as and as often as possible once you are online.
The matter should be consider is the topic and quality of posting itself.
To me, i find that even though some topic is not my interest, i will vote him
more if i see his effort in sharing this community.
