He deserves more than he got in Liverpool.

Takumi Minamino is one of the unrecognized stars in Liverpool, and unfortunately for him, he couldn't break into the Liverpool regular squad but his impact on the club's domestic competition can be overlooked.

The Japanese can play as a winger or an attacking midfielder, he is a utility player if I must say but the competition in the Liverpool squad is too much and his efforts don't seem to be recognized by the manager. Seeing his link to Monaco made me happy and unhappy at the same time because he has really helped Liverpool in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup as well, he does the job before the likes of Salah and Mane even have an impact.

Minamino barely gets playing time in Premier League and I believe it doesn't make him happy, the Monaco switch should give him enough playing time. Before he was signed to Liverpool, he was one of the best at Salzburg and he joined Liverpool with high expectations but things didn't turn out to be as planned for him.

In three seasons, he was only able to feature 30 times for Liverpool in the Premier League mostly as a substitute and he was able to find the net just three times in the Epl. In as much as I hate to see him leave, I wouldn't just want him to be on the bench. He deserves some playing time and I believe Monaco can guarantee him that.

There is definitely no doubt about him picking up in the French league, he is fast, skillful, and a threat to any defense he plays against. Minamino time at Liverpool is definitely not a waste, he has the English Premier League title, the FA Cup title, and the Carabao Cup to his name, and the experience he has gathered playing with the likes of Sadio Mane, Mohammed Salah, and other should give him an edge above other wingers in Monaco.

He is just 27 and I believe he still has a long way to go with his career, the world is yet to see the best of the Japanese man. I have seen people referring to Jurgen Klopp as a terrible person because of the caliber of players he is letting go and I think otherwise of him.

It's better to let a player go when he is not part of your plan, it won't make sense to have him sit on the bench for the remaining days of his career in Liverpool. Monaco has agreed to the deal and I hope it goes through so he can have another opportunity to showcase what he's capable of doing to the world.
