It is an international organization which investigates the games played in different countries of the world to see if there has been any corruption. Sportradar published a 28-page report. It is written there, in 2022, a total of 1212 matches may have been played in 12 types of games in 92 countries.
This organization investigates various games using a special method called 'Universal Fraud Detection System'.
The most allegations of match-fixing have been made in football. They alleged that money was played in 775 football matches. Apart from this, 220 basketball matches, 75 tennis matches also smell of fixing. Cricket is number six in the list.
But fixing is not less than 13 cricket matches in a year, according to Sportradar. Cricket has never been accused of losing so many matches in a year.
