Due to the deteriorating situation in Corona, a lockdown has been declared in Rajshahi city from 5 pm on 11 June to 12 midnight on June 17. It will be announced all over the country. During this time, it is not possible to go out of the house unnecessarily every day from 5 pm to 6 am. However, pharmacies and grocery stores will be open from 8 am to 5 pm. All types of public transport such as buses, trains, airlines on domestic routes have also been banned.
Do you think the lockdown is a permanent solution to deal with the effects of the Corona situation? I don't think so. Because Bangladesh is a developing country, our economic condition do not high. That means the economic situation of Bangladesh is very bad. There are many people who are low-income. They run their family with the money they earn every day. Again, many will be beggars on the way down the lockdown.
Hon'ble Mayor of Rajshahi City Corporation has made several plans. During the lockdown, people should not have any problem with ordinary low-income people. But the main thing to keep in mind here is that people will not have income or less in the lockdown, so they need to be helped or given a financial grant.
I think alternative measures should be taken without destroying the people and the economy of the country with additional lockdown.
