There was an international conference in our department, Department of Statistics, Rajshahi University. Seventh International Conference on Data Science and Sustainable Development Goal SDG Challenge. The conference was basically based on data science and SDGs. Teachers and researchers from many countries participated here. I was not in the first position in this conference, but later I participated in several conferences and challenges. Which were held on conference room and senate building. Me and my friends attend this conference on senat building.
The main research topic in our department is data science. A lot of research is done on data science. There are some researchers, Emeritus plays the role of professor. They included SDG with data science in their research and organized a conference. All students were invited to attend the conference. Through this conference we had the opportunity to get in touch with many data scientists and researchers, it was a great achievement for us.
The Sustainable Development Goals are valid till 2030 and there are 18 targets. This conference will play a big role in achieving these goals in our country.
