Greetings, in this post i will share pictures and videos what i made of the Khmer New year party in 2017. But they are not all the pictures, just a small part of it, with a video i edited and created.
That party was extra special because it was the last performance of my daughter, doing traditional dance. That dance was trained and given by her mother, my woman @rouer6. She was preparing the children for months, and worked hard to teach the children the traditional dance. And i had to film everything for the future.
Totally she had trained 2 groups for the New year party, one group was between 6 and 10, and the other group was between 13 and 15 year's old. And besides that did she also do another traditional dance with the parents of the children, and other artist. The main goal was to give further tradition and culture to the next generation.
Here is my woman on the right, with her 2 sisters on her left.
And the person on the mic is @chanthasambb, if you don't know him yet, then my advice would be follow him, because he is a true artist, who is a singer and a artist, writer and can create a complete show, and most important he is a friend of us! Left of him is my woman @rouer6!
The lights were very smooth, and created a good environment for the party, what was delivered by @rithysakkim

Here is me standing near the stage, to make the best pictures, but on that moment i was helping my little niece to get on the stage. The camera man who took this picture did that on purpose, to catch us both in one picture. :)
And here we are backstage, my woman had almost no time to relax, because she was busy preparing the girls, doing the hair, the clothes, the food and the drinks and then when the party was almost over, then she was ready with everything. Because to her it's important that the next generation learn the traditions, and that only be done, when the adults show the right example.
Unfortunately this year are we not on the party, but maybe next year again. Thanks for coming by! Happy Khmer New year Serey!
