Market Situation in my area

The economic situation in my area is becoming very alarming. Recently, the inauguration of the next president of the federal republic of Nigeria was down, and on that occasion, a declaration was made that change the state of the country instantly. This declaration made the price of goods move from the lowest to the highest and even became more scarce. 

People are suffering here in Nigeria. I went to the market yesterday to purchase a few food foodstuffs I was amazed at how the price of things has moved up drastically. My major concern now is how people who are not working will survive this type of situation.
