Trent Alexander-Arnold is not in the England squad that will play against Germany. England coach, Southgate has decided to drop Arnold from the Squad, it seems he is not interested in the right back for a reason best known to him.
Alexander-Arnold has played only 5 games for England since 2020, he was on the bench in their last match against Italy but was not brought in. This has brought so many controversial talks and the England coach has been criticized for it. Arnold is a good player and has been rated as one of the best right back in the world, he is good in attacking and has so many assist.
He is not that good in defending, maybe that is the reason Southgate prefferd James over him. But nevertheless he should be given a chance, a player of such quality should not be ignored just like that, he might not be allowed to full games but can still come in as a substitute. If this continues we don't know if he can still make it to the squad that will be going for the FiFA world cup coming up later in the year.
