Volunteers were recruited to keep the designated place of the fair clean and tidy. The shopkeepers have already allotted shops for setting up shops at the fair. Through the fair, people from one village get acquainted with people from other villages and exchange ideas. However, as a result of increasing urbanization, this culture and tradition of rural Bengal is now on the verge of extinction.
