Electricity is one of the most important discoveries in science. In 1833, Michael Faraday changed the course of human civilization with the discovery of electricity. Electricity has made the standard of living of people dynamic and improved. Today all spheres of human civilization are illuminated by the touch of electricity. With the discovery of electricity, all the darkness of the world seemed to disappear from the sight of man. Although electricity is an essential part of the present civilization, there is a power crisis in Bangladesh at present. As a result, the progress of Bangladesh is being hampered. There is an urgent need to remedy the power crisis to get rid of it.
Modern society is completely dependent on electricity. Without electricity, people do not have a single moment. The foundation of modern civilization has been laid around electricity. Electric lamps, electric fans, radios, televisions, telephones, telegrams, medical e. C. G., X-rays, etc. have been discovered due to electricity. Social networking sites like email, internet, Facebook etc. are also dependent on electricity. The present society cannot move a single foot without electricity. Power shortage is very high in underdeveloped and developing countries. Due to this deficit, the industry of these countries is not developing, productive activities are being disrupted and the standard of living is deteriorating. Their economic development is being hampered. As a result, their socio-economic status is getting lower and lower. They cannot improve due to lack of electricity.
Electricity is inextricably linked with our daily and national life. Without electricity we are useless. So we need to ensure uninterrupted power supply to make our lives dynamic and comfortable. Only then the national development will be accelerated. Thank you, everyone will be by your side.
