The few Hindu families in the village are gone. 

It has now become completely Muslim so to speak. 

A somewhat mixed feeling remains as the house-temple ownership of only Hindu or Namasudra Vibhuti Saha and his ancestors did not pass into the hands of a Muslim. 

However, there are many villages to be found in Bangladesh - far from having a single Hindu family, there is not even a single Hindu with any wealth. 

But no village can be found in which there are not two or four Muslim families.

Some of Vibhuti Saha's ancestors have been buried for a long time in a hole in the ground somewhere in the fenced area with bamboo slats embedded in the ground. 

The ground is mixed with fresh blood that was unjustly spilled a long time ago. 

It is not an easy task to uproot from the soil with which one's blood and life are connected.

After two days, Vibhuti came back and did not find anyone in the house except Ma Kaki Jethi. 

The few Hindu families that were in the village, went from house to house and saw that the whole house was empty. 

No one was found there. 

Jabbar Munsi's men were taking out cupboards, beds, tables, chairs and even bronze dishes and pitchers inside a house. 

Some were removing the tins of the house or the timbers of the doors and windows.
