Gas is a valuable natural resource. It has many uses in modern civilization. Gas plays a major role in the economic development of the country through power generation, fertilizer production, industrial use, fuel and household use. The amount of gas in Bangladesh is limited but it is used in many cases. It is possible to add a new journey to the economic development of the country through proper use and management of these precious resources.
The economic war started after the Second World War. In this war, the industrialized countries used capital as a weapon. Puji's religion is to make profit. After World War II, developed countries plundered Third World resources in the name of democracy, communication revolution and free market economy. In the process of plundering, the interests of the United States, India, Canada, Russia and multinational corporations have come to the same point in Bangladesh's gas resources. Foreign oil companies working in Bangladesh, different companies, different countries are pressuring for the export of gas to Bangladesh. Many industrialized countries in East Asia and Europe, including India, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar and the United States, are waiting to import these gas resources.
There is no gas to export to Bangladesh. As much gas as has been discovered and as much as is likely to be obtained can be used for 25-30 years if used for themselves. If no new gas field is found, gas must be imported within the next 20 years. The amount of resources in the country is insufficient but the problems are innumerable. Notable among these finite resources is natural gas. In addition to taking various steps of the government for the development of this resource, we all have to be careful in its development and use.
