Paraguay is one of the destinations considered by color companies for setting up their bitcoin mining operations. Last week, the Chinese company Future Fintech announced official plans to install bitcoin mines in the country, explaining that they are setting a stylish location for the upcoming farm. In June, the mainstream media announced that eight Chinese for-profit groups were interested in coming to the country.
Paraguay's bitcoin mining is considered for underlying
Paraguay, a frequently neglected country in South America, has recently become a hotbed of mining companies interested in establishing activities in the country. Paraguay presents a variety of benefits for these groups, such as the abundant power of unused hydro-electrical energy that can be harnessed. Bitcoin mining has been tarnished as a “dirty” activity, but companies can mine without being confused about the impact on the terrain because of this important clean energy.
Unborn Fintech, a Chinese company that was invited to Paraguay, previously had plans to set up a bitcoin mining installation in the country. According to a public relations statement issued last week, company CEO Shanchun Huang will review the data to determine what path the company will take to make it a reality. Huang said
We plan to properly evaluate this development opportunity in Paraguay. We will work with our key advisors to review Paraguay's hydropower and clean energy reserves, the location of a mining farm, and the priority policy treatments we can accept for our capital investment.
The company also cites a special quote from the Paraguayan government's support for the cryptocurrency mining business.
Much more may be coming
Many more companies may plan closely to relocate their work to Paraguay, more so after the Bitcoin mining outpost that China created with its most backward cryptocurrency crackdown. In July, Juanzo Benitez Rickman, CEO of bitcoin mining company Digital Mines, said there were at least eight Chinese profit groups interested in Paraguay, but he did not elaborate on the personalities of these groups.
Similarly, Rickman said he knows one of these groups was in the country before and plans to install 90K miners next month. One megawatt of unused electricity is said to signal the launch of a bitcoin mining period in the country of Paraguay.
