Cottrell shows on a white board that the number of antibodies induced by the booster dose decreases. He showed that immunoglobulin G (IgG) would initially shoot after the second dose, but subsequent booster doses would produce lower and lower peaks. There will be moderate spikes of immunoglobulin M (IGM) after the second dose, but similarly successful booster doses will be reduced. Your immune system gradually becomes less responsive to ticks. The more booster shots you take, the more it will guarantee that your IgM and IgG are going to be less reactive, and this will lead to more fugitive forms.
