۔ اس خیال سے اس نے ایک چھوٹی کہانی لکھ ڈالی اور کسی کو بتائے بغیر بچوں کے ایک رسالے میں ارسال کر دی۔چار ماہ بعد ایک صبح جب اس نے تازہ شمارہ کھولا تو خوشی سے پھولے نہ سمایا۔ اس کی پہلی تحریر رسالے کے نئے لکھنے والے ادیبوں کے حصے میں شامل تھی۔ اس نے فوراً اپنی یہ کاوش گھر والوں کو دکھائی۔ بڑے بھائی نے کہا:”کہانیاں لکھنا اچھی سرگرمی ہے،لیکن تعلیم سب سے افضل ہے،اس میں کوئی کوتاہی نہ ہو۔“ ”بھائی جان!آپ بے فکر رہیں میں تعلیم پر پوری توجہ دوں گا،لیکن میں ایک بڑا ادیب بھی بننا چاہتا ہوں۔ “خاور کے لہجے میں ایک عزم تھا۔کچھ ہی عرصے میں اس کی کہانیاں باقاعدگی سے مختلف رسائل میں شائع ہونے لگیں۔اسکول،خاندان اور دوستوں میں اُسے تعریفی نظروں سے دیکھا جانے لگا۔ ایک دن بھائی جان نے اس سے پوچھا:”خاور!تم نے آفاق اثری کا نام سنا ہے؟“ ”جی․․․․وہ تو بچوں کے بہت مشہور ادیب ہیں،بلکہ میرے پسندیدہ قلم کار ہیں۔ “ بھائی جان نے کہا:”وہ میرے ایک دوست کے عزیز ہیں اور قریب ہی رہتے ہیں۔اگر تم چاہو تو میں اپنے دوست سے بات کرکے تمہیں ان سے ملانے لے جاؤں گا۔“ اگلے ہی ہفتے خاور،بھائی جان اور ان کے دوست آفاق اثری صاحب کے گھر پہنچ گئے۔ اثری صاحب سے ملاقات ہوئی تو وہ خاور سے محبت سے ملے اور اس کی شائع شدہ کہانیوں پر بھی نظر ڈال کر بولے،یہ اچھا مشغلہ ہے تم اسے جاری رکھو،یہ تمہاری تعلیم میں بھی معاون ثابت ہو گا۔خاور نے ہمت کرکے درخواست کی کہ وہ میری کہانیوں کی اصلاح فرما دیں تو نوازش ہو گی۔ اثری صاحب رضا مند ہو گئے۔ خاور خوشی خوشی گھر آگیا،لیکن نہ جانے اسے کیوں اثری صاحب کا رویہ،انداز گفتگو اور وہ خود کچھ بناوٹی سے لگے جیسے اندرونی کیفیت چھپا کر مصنوعی انداز میں بات کر رہے ہوں،لیکن اس نے اس خیال کو فوراً دل سے نکال دیا🌹

۔ خاور اب اور بھی دل جمعی سے کہانیاں لکھنے لگا۔کچھ عرصے بعد خاور نے ایک ایسی کہانی لکھی،جو اس کی اب تک کی سب سے اچھی تحریر تھی۔ وہ کہانی لے کر اثری صاحب کے پاس جا پہنچا۔انھوں نے کہانی اپنے پاس رکھ لی اور کہا کہ میں ابھی مصروف ہوں،اگلے ہفتے آکر لے جانا۔ ایک ہفتے بعد کہانی دیتے ہوئے انھوں نے کہا کہ اچھی کہانی ہے۔میں نے ابتداء میں تبدیلی کی ہے باقی کسی اصلاح کی ضرورت نہیں ہے۔ تمہارے والے مسودے پر چائے گر گئی تھی،اسی لئے میں نے مکمل طور پر اپنے ہاتھ سے لکھ دی ہے۔ خاور نے اپنے ہاتھ سے لکھ کر کہانی رسالے کو ارسال کر دی۔ اس نے مدیر کے نام خط میں لکھ دیا تھا کہ وہ آفاق اثری صاحب کا شاگرد ہے اور اس کہانی میں انھوں نے اصلاح بھی کی ہے۔ ایک دن آفاق اثری کے پاس رسالے کے مدیر کا فون آیا۔مدیر نے کہا:”آفاق صاحب!کمال ہے آپ خود تو لاجواب لکھتے ہی ہیں آپ کے شاگرد بھی بہت اچھا لکھ رہے ہیں۔ خاور نامی آپ کے شاگرد نے ایک بہت اچھی کہانی بھیجی ہے اور آپ کا حوالہ بھی دیا ہے کہ آپ نے کچھ نوک پلگ سنواری ہے۔کہانی اتنی بہترین ہے کہ میں نے اسے خاص نمبر کی خاص کہانی کے طور پر منتخب کر لیا ہے اور آپ کی تحریر بھی اسی شمارے میں کہیں شامل کر لیں گے۔ “ مدیر صاحب کی پوری بات سنتے ہی آفاق صاحب کی عجیب سی کیفیت ہو گئی اور وہ ایک لمحے میں فیصلہ کرتے ہوئے بولے کہ جناب !یہ لڑکا چھوٹی موٹی فضول قسم کی کہانیاں لکھ لیتا ہے۔میں دل رکھنے کے لئے حوصلہ افزائی کر دیتا ہوں۔کبھی کبھار اصلاح بھی کر دیتا ہوں اور جس کہانی کا ذکر آپ کر رہے ہیں وہ تو میری اپنی تحریر ہے اور مجھے کچھ دنوں سے مل نہیں رہی تھی۔ اب سمجھا کہ خاور چرا کر لے گئے ہیں۔آپ ابھی اسے شائع نہ کریں۔ فون بند کرتے ہی آفاق اثری کا موڈ انتہائی بگڑ چکا تھا۔وہ غصے میں بڑبڑانے لگے کہ وہ کل کا بچہ اور مجھ پر فوقیت پاکر خاص کہانی کا درجہ بھی پائے اور سرورق کی زینت بھی ہو اور اس کے مقابلے میں میری کہانی اندرونی صفحات میں شامل ہو۔ انھوں نے خاور کو فون کیا اور کہا کہ ان کا اصلاح شدہ مسودہ بھی ساتھ لائے۔اس میں کچھ ترمیم اور اضافے کے بعد دوبارہ بھیج دیں گے۔خاور نے ان کو دعائیں دیتے ہوئے سوچا کہ اثری صاحب کو اس کا اتنا خیال ہے کہ کہانی کو مزید بہتر کر رہے ہیں۔ چند روز بعد خاور کو رسالے کی جانب سے ایک خط موصول ہوا۔اس نے بے تابی سے لفافہ چاک کیا۔جوں جوں وہ خط پڑھتا گیا💯🌹
