There was two matches in ICC Men's World Cup today. The first one was between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. And the last one was between India and Pakistan. Sri Lanka defeated Bangladesh by five wickets. On the other hand Pakistan defeated India by 10 wickets.
In the first match, Bangladesh collected 171 runs in the first innings on Naim and Mushfiqur's half century. It was obviously a fighting score in that match. But I would say Bangladesh was defeated basically for their bad fielding and the captaincy. Sri Lanka was in pressure after they lose four wickets. But then some wrong decision came from Mahmudullah, captain of Bangladesh. Also the fielder misses some easy catch to out. These incidents punched Bangladesh far away from the match. And it was a good playing a success for Sri Lanka.
In the second match, Pakistan beat India by ten wickets. It was a record 10 wickets winning in t20 cricket history. Also a big record for Pakistan as they beat India in any world cup match for the first time in history. But the most fascinating matter was the ten wickets win. Can you remember when for the last time India was defeated by ten wickets in any cricket match? I think it is very hard to remember. And all credit for this historic win go to Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi. Shaheen Afridi bowled so well that helped Pakistan to keep India in an average run. India were able to collect only 151 runs. And Rizwan and Babar easily chased this run.
