LOOK AWAY!

Let me quickly share a story on this. One Saturday evening, as I was coming back from church, I saw three ladies going to church and they dressed crazy, like I mean very crazy.... There's nothing to qualify it than using craziness.

At first, I admired one of the fitted gown even though it looked torn. I said to myself, I can see something like this for myself even though it will not be as short as this.. I began to analyze how I would want my own to be.

Different thought kept running through my head like, mine will be more longer, It won't be tight like this; I will tell my tailor not to make it look torn like this. Within five minutes, I've cooked and served it hot as I want it to be in my head.

As I kept following them as they walked towards my direction, I just had a rethink and I asked myself, so after everything you've gathered, where will you wear the dress to? My school has a conduct of dressing, I can't wear it to campus, it won't be allowed in church as well as my fellowship.

I kept on struggling with the spirit in me. But they are students like me too. After all, I can wear it to party. Again the question was asked, whose party? Because none of my friends will ever encourage an indecent dressing in their party.

As all thought was lost and didn't even have an answer to the silent questions being asked by my spirit, I quickly take off my eyes from them and looked towards another direction.

Two lessons to learn from this;

Firstly, your association really matters. Who are those you call your friends? Are they those who will engage you with different ungodly and indecent activities? You will be distracted when you follow this kind of friends.

Just so you know, being a spiritual brother or sister doesn't mean temptation won't come your way, but all you have to do is to resist it by looking away. They may be human beings like you but youryo not from the same tribe. You're from the TRIBE OF JUDAH.

You have the life and mind of Christ, you are unique, there's so much beauty in you. You are a full spec, God's masterpiece. You can't be like them cause you're not part of them, but you can only look away and get focused on Jesus. Look away and get focused on Jesus.

Jesus is the message. Modesty is the key!
