POEM: PERFECT IMPERFECTION

S

I'm not perfect, so are you

Full of mistakes and errors

This is what makes us humans

As we live in imperfections.

We are perfect yet we are not

We get one right and miss another

The ones we love never look at them

They hold us close regardless.

We get messy, full of dirts.

Yet we do what we can right

The mistakes we make perfectly

And glory in our perfect imperfection.

Like a dog with sometimes lie

Barking at others' errors

To protect, we turn to steal

Their peace of mind and runaway.

The only thing we have to do

Is to be the best of ourselves

And never think of perfection

For that is what we'll never be.

Accept others and not despise

Even when they make mistakes

Only know they are perfect in one

And that is in their imperfections.

Such is our perfect imperfection

To hurt others and feel we're right

Getting in their space is nothing to us

We are humans that is our nature.

But even in our perfect imperfections

Let's try and live in peace and love

love is the one and only antidote

That will cover our imperfections.
