Love is more than a sense of emotions and feelings. It is far more than just a feeling. Do you know that everyone on the face of the earth is loved? You might not feel it but you are loved.
The kind of love I am talking about is an unconditional Love. This kind of love is not for a period of time. It doesn't come because of what we have to offer.
It is indeed surprising how we sometimes, subconsciously add conditions to the love of God. God's love is unconditional. It is only the human kind of Love that comes with conditions.
This unconditional love of God brings us peace; a feeling most of us don't experience with the people we assume to love.
One important thing about the love of God is that we do not have to maintain perfection or be worthy of the love. It comes directly to us even when we don't recognise its existence.
This love has already been bestowed upon us since when he created us. God's love will never change neither will it be interrupted by the forces surrounding us.
Do not condemn yourself or feel less of yourself because God's love will help you to learn and grow.
The truth is that I am loved and so are you. Nothing can change that. Not even the mess we find ourselves. Therefore, we should sit back and be grateful to God for loving us the way he does.
