Poem: Miss Fatty

S

I have the fattest body

I hardly could accept

The fat in me increasing

Daily as I wake up.

They said I was a glutton,

A name I so detaste

The food I ate was not so much

To add a pound in a day.

Although my size was big enough

To make them doubt my age

I don't deserve the name I got

The irritations from my peers.

Image and thumbnail source

My head and cheeks were normal

But arms and feet not mine

They belong to a stranger

Who was never my age.

My body is my body

No matter all the hate

I cannot leave it for another

even when I feel I'm the fattest.

To all that hate my body

And call me funny names

This could be anybody

This shape could be all yours.

Don't shame me for my figure

I didn't make myself

I only should be thankful

I'm big enough and unique.
