Crypto enthusiasts must've been battling with a lot of indecision with the way the market has been fluctuating, although the very essence of volatility means that this is not surprising.
But convincing someone to invest in crypto could become an arduos task for instance if there's no change in the price of Bitcoin. Bitcoin not surprisingly is the most popular coin and it's price affects other alt coins to a large extent.
Currently trading at about 21k, Bitcoin price is actually something most people look at before making a first crypto investment. As much as low prices means more units, continued dips could either mean more interest amongst buyers to improve their portfolio at the low prices or it could also mean fear of loosing funds if there are no positives.
Many might think increase in price would deter people from entering the market but a lot of times people love to join the market of an already booming coin. Whether such a decision is right or wrong when thinking investment wise is left to them to decide.
Likewise when there's a dip in prices panic sell begins and although people will loose money, they prefer to hold their funds than to hold the coin.
So when next you're convincing someone to invest in a crypto asset, patience should be one of the core lessons to instill in them and not just explanations on how much they can gain or loose.
