Lionel Messi went to play the World Cup qualifying match for Argentina. In the meantime, Inter Miami has to play an important match to make it to the playoffs of Major League Soccer (MLS). In the absence of Messi, another Argentinian Facundo Farias brought victory to Inter Miami in the MLS match against Sporting Kansas City this morning Bangladesh time. He did, however, score a goal in a 3–2 win over Sporting Kansas City, with a brace from Ecuador forward Leonardo Campana.

Eight of Inter Miami's regular players, including Messi, have gone on to play for the national team. Playing with a relatively 'weak' team, Miami fell behind in 9 minutes of the match in their own field. However, in the 25th minute, Campana scored from the penalty spot to equalize Miami. The Ecuadorian forward gave the team a 2-1 lead just before the final whistle of the first half.
Miami played well from the beginning of the second half. They get the results quickly. Argentina's 21-year-old attacking midfielder Facundo Farias made the scoreline 3-2 with a wonderful goal in the 60th minute. Sporting Kansas City got a goal back in the 78th minute. In the end, Farias' goal proved to be the difference.
Before signing Messi, Miami remained undefeated in 12 matches across all competitions. They are now 6 points away from the MLS playoffs. Miami, who were bottom of MLS's Eastern Conference before Messi joined, are 14th with 28 points from 26 games after today's win.
