আমার জন্মস্হল, আমার গর্ব/ My birthplace, my pride!

এটা আমার গ্রাম।এখানেই আমি বেড়ে উঠেছি।সুজলা সুফলা আমাদের এই গ্রাম।একসময় অনেক অভাব অনটন এর ভিতর দিয়ে গেছেন এখানকার বেশিরভাগ মানুষ।

আমি শুনেছি আমাদের গ্রামের বেশিরভাগ মানুষ দুই বেলা খেতে ও পারত না এক সময়। দারিদ্র্য সীমার নিচে বাস করতো এখানকার জনপদ। তখনকার দিনে জমিতে ফসল হতো না। গ্রামের অধিকাংশ পুরুষ খালে বিলে মাছ ধরে জীবিকা নির্বাহ করতো। কেউ কেউ ধানের ব্যাবসা করতো আবার কেউ কেউ অন্যের জমিতে সামান্য টাকার বিনিময়ে কাজ করতো। খুব কষ্টে চলছিলো এখানকার মানুষ।

সম্ভবত ১৯৮০ সালের দিকে এই জনপদে নতুন দিকের উন্মোচন  হয়। এই এলাকায় সোলায়মান মোড়ল নামের জনৈক ব্যাক্তি প্রথম চিংড়ি ঘের এর শুভ সুচনা করেন।প্রথম বছর সে অনেক লাভ করে।এটা দেখে গ্রামের আরো কয়েকজন পরের বছর ঘের খনন করে তাদের নিজস্ব জমিতে।তারাও আশানুরূপ ফল পায়।এভাবে পুরো গ্রাম তথা আশেপাশের গ্রামের মানুষ সবাই এই ঘের খনন করতে লাগে।এক সময় এখানকার প্রধান পেশা হয়ে ওঠে এই ঘের ব্যাবসা।

এখানে এখন সবাই সাবলম্বী। এখানকার নতুন প্রজন্মের বেশির ভাগই চাকরিজীবি। অনেকে অনেক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পদে রয়েছেন। গ্রামের সবাই সবাইকে সাহায্য করে।গ্রামীণ জনপদে থেকেও আমাদের গ্রামের নতুন প্রজন্মের সবাই অনেক ভাল করছে তাদের পেশাগত জীবনে।আশা করি সামনের দিন গুলোতে এভাবেই আমার প্রতিবেশীরা অনেক ভাল করবে প্রতিটি সেক্টরে।

This is my village. This is where I grew up. Sujala Sufla is our village is abounding with many rivers and fruitfull trees and corns . Most of the people here have gone through many hardships.

 I heard that most of the people in our village could not eat two meals at a day.  The people here lived below the poverty line.  In those days there was no crop in the land.  Most of the men in the village earned their livelihood by fishing in the canals.  Some used to trade in paddy and some worked on other people's land for a small amount of money.  The people here were going very hard.

 Perhaps around 1980, a new direction opened up in this township.  In this area, a person named Solaiman Moral gave good advice for the first shrimp enclosure. The first year he made a lot of profit. Seeing this, some other people in the village dug enclosures in their own land in the next year. They also got the desired results. In this way, the whole village and the people of the surrounding villages all became happy.  At that time the main occupation here was this enclosure business.

 Here now everyone is self reliant .  Most of the new generation here are job seekers.  Many are in very important positions.  Everyone in the village helps others. All the new generation of our village is doing very well in their professional life even from the rural township. I hope that in the coming days my neighbors will do very well in every sector.
