My Introduction To Serey

Holla! Sereyans. Yea, sereyans. I like to have a cheeky general name for any community I find myself in. So, sereyans meet Mhiz Rutty. Who's Mhiz Rutty, you say?

Mhiz Rutty is a Nigerian by nationality, Christian by religion and a student majoring in aquaculture and fisheries management, hence also a fish farmer. You are thinking about it, aren't you? Why would a girl want to get into farming? I will answer that.

With the current rate of technological advancement, it's no secret that more than half the jobs today would have been replaced by bots and AI. Who would need the services of a doctor, dentist, dermatologist, lawyer, pharmacist etc, when I could get a single bot to do them all for me? It's a very real and not so far possibility, that a lot of workers today should feel threatened that their entire skillset will be unemployable in no time. 

But you know one sector that will always be immune to the threat posed by technological advancement? Food production and processing. At the very least, it's more immune compared to other lines of work. Anyway, back to me.

So, I'm also an aspiring blogger, which is what has led me here, and of course the possibility of earning from it. I free write a lot, so it can be quite difficult to choose the genre I specialise in. But if I must, I would say politics, lifestyle, current affairs, religions, mental development and critical thinking. My hobbies include reading, writing, watching movies, listening to good music and watching football. 

I'm yet to know my way fully around here, but I'm guessing that's a common theme with all newbies. I'm sure with your assistance and with time, I will learn to maximally utilise the platform.
