Nicolas Raskin, a Belgian midfielder, joined Rangers in part due to manager Michael Beale's explanation of the team's ideal style of play.
Raskin, 21, is eligible for selection for the game against Ross County on Saturday after moving to Ibrox from Standard Liege for an unknown sum.
I appreciate how the manager laid out his preferred playing style, the guy stated.
"I adore this: no long balls, just producing from behind. I was trying to find something similar to what I already knew."
Raskin has played in 17 games in the Belgian top division this year, the latest coming in mid-November, which may indicate that he will start his Rangers career on the bench.
Fans should anticipate a player who wants to be actively involved in the game when he finally makes his debut.
At the media briefing on Friday, he stated, "I prefer to recover the ball, play forward, one or two touches, playing in between players, and shattering the lines.
"I enjoy a rapid tempo. It works for me. Anywhere the coach wants me to play, I can. I'll play the six if that's what he wants, and the eight if that's what he wants."
Raskin commented that Rangers appeared to be Liege's "larger brother."
He stated, "Both teams have a tremendous atmosphere and fans: I'd say there's more here."
"I'd really like to remain with a team that has a lot of fans and a great environment. I enjoy performing under pressure because it helps you develop.
"Because I know this club has many trophies, I want to understand what it is to be a champion and what it's like to earn awards.
"I want to improve in European contests as well. I've played in the Europa League, naturally against Rangers, but now I want to compete in the Champions League rather than just participate to make a good tale."
