The rainy season usually starts in the month of July and continues till mid-September. Its really an enjoyable time period though it causes a number of problems as well.

The rainy season in Pakistan is celebrated with open arms. As soon s the heavy black clouds appear in the sky, you can feel the smell of tiny raindrops and the refreshing winds. The rain anticipates more joys. Children especially wait for this season as they enjoy bathing and having fun in the rain. Making paper boats and jumping in the rain pools. The summer vacation becomes more lovely for these kids as they enjoy rain in a carefree way.

The rainy season also brings cravings for different kinds of tasty fried and sweet dishes. Most famous among them are pakoras, suji halwa, alu tikki, samosas, kachori served with several tasty sauces. As mango is the main fruit of this season, you can see people enjoying mangoes as well. People in Pakistan love to have these amazing Pakwans on their tables either made at home or they get it from any shop.
Rain-Not a boon in Pakistan
Along with all its enjoyments, the rainy season in Pakistan also brings many calamities. As we have still not developed our sewage and sanitary system, the rain becomes a disaster for us. We can see rainwater accumulated here and there in the streets causing severe problems to the people around. Also, heavy rains become the reason f floods in many areas and we even face crop depredation. Many people lose their lives and belongings due to floods. Sometimes epidemics spread in these flooded areas.
