Today's topic: Jute

Dear brothers and friends, how are you all? I hope you are all well. I am well, God willing, with your prayers. The topic I want to write about today is jute. Before that, I must say something. I am a Bangladeshi. I live in Bangladesh. Our main occupation in Bangladesh is agricultural work.

The main occupation of the people of Bangladesh is mainly agricultural work. Therefore, 70% of the people work in agriculture. Therefore, one of the crops of the farmers is jute. Today I will try to write about jute.

Planting jute seeds

To plant jute seeds, first the land has to be cultivated. After cultivating the land, pesticides are used in the land. The soil of the land has to be cultivated well. Then the jute seeds have to be planted. The seedlings start growing within 10 to 15 days of planting the jute seeds. And in between these seedlings, many weeds grow or there is a lot of grass. These weeds have to be cleaned. In this way, the jute can be harvested from the land within 70 to 80 days.

Jute cutting and soaking

When it is time to harvest jute from the land, jute has to be harvested from the land. Those jute stalks have to be cut into small pieces. After the jute stalks are cut, the jute stalks have to be tied up and kept. So that the jute leaves fall off within 8 to 10 days. After the jute leaves fall off, they are taken to a pond or a river or drain to soak them, and kept together.

Jute collection

After 20 to 25 days, when the jute becomes soft after soaking in water, then the jute has to be washed. Sixty-one stalks have to be taken out from inside the jute. After taking them out, the jute stalks have to be dried in the sun. When the jute stalks become half empty, they have to be soaked in the jute. After soaking the jute stalks, they have to be dried well. When the jute is dry, it has to be prepared for sale.

Jute Sale

Bangladesh produces jute. By producing jute, it meets the needs of its own country and exports it to other countries. Through this export, Bangladesh earns foreign exchange.
