Don't Assume Seeing The Size - Self Defense

He is just an old guy. What is he gonna do? He can't fight back.

If you are judging people seeing the size or age, you are making a mistake. Unfortunately, sometimes we see some people do not respect older people. Maybe they are not so strong as they were before. So does that give you the right to make fun of old guys?

If you do not respect people, that shows who you are as a person. Some bad guys think that's an old guy, so he cannot do anything or fight back. Guess what? You do not know what that old guy is capable of doing. You do not know if he is a martial arts expert. He can take care of those bad guys in a blink of an eye. Likewise, some guys think that's a girl. So what can she do against a big guy? You do not know the background of that girl. That girl could have a background, she can be well trained, and she knows exactly what to do to handle any challenging situation. When that girl strikes, she can do more damage than you think. It hurts pretty bad.

You are a big guy and think no one can hurt you. Guess what? There are certain parts of the body that cannot be conditioned. Someone who is trained and has experience can be a nightmare for you, regardless of how he or she looks like.

He looks young. So what does he know about martial arts? Again you are judging someone seeing the age like old or young. You do not know when that young boy started his training and how focused he is on his training. He is young, but he can have real-life experience to fight for self-defense.

One thing that is very important when it comes to self-defense is, do not underestimate your opponent. This could be the single thing that can put you in a vulnerable position. And when you realize that, it's too late.
