It is fascinating to see different moves in movies. It makes you surprise because it's something that you do not see in real life. If you watch martial art movies, the fight, strike, breaking and different cool stuff impress you.

Ong Bak is a martial art action movie. You see Tonny Jaa in Ong Bak. Tonny Jaa is a Thai martial artist, actor, stuntman and action choreographer. Muay Thai is one of my favorite martal arts. You can see Muay Thai fight in Ong Bak.
When you watch movies, that's for entertainment. That's usually the main focus in a movie. How about if you see something in real life that you are used to seeing in movies?

Before saying anything, I'd like to say, please don't try this at home.
When a martial artist does anything like this, he or she spends a lot of time on training. They do not kick or punch on something hard at the beginning. They try it on something that is not so hard. Some people use banana tree to practice. Of course, punching bag and kick bag are always there.
When they hit with leg, it fractures the bone a little, then it rebuilds. They practice again and then take rest so that the bone rebuilds again. It gets stronger gradually. Finally, they are able to do something like that what you see in this video.
When you have to fight for self-defense, please do not judge looking at the size of the body. Does the guy in this video look big? No, of course, not. But what he is capable of doing, that's incredible. So never underestimate your opponent when it comes to self-defense.
Many people say that they are inspired to learn martial arts by watching martial art movies. That's great. But I implore you, please do not try to do everything that you see in a movie. What you see in a movie and real life are two different things.
