Knife and Stick Fighting - Self Defense

It is fascinating to see how they use blade, knife and stick to fight, and how they teach their students. There are different martial arts in the world and you will be happy to know the beauty of martial arts.

When you learn martial arts, it is not for hurting other people, it is about defending yourself. You fight not because you hate, you fight because you love others and you have to protect yourself and them against attackers.

When you learn a martial art, you think that's the best martial art in the world. Of course, that's better and because of that, you are learning that martial art. But if you look down on other martial arts, I'm afraid that you have closed your mind. Every martial has its own concept and you see that reflects on everything they do.

In this video, you will the footwork, knife and stick attack and sparring. You will also see them fighting. When you have a fight on the street, attackers often come out with some sort of weapons. It could be a knife, stick, blade, gun and so on. So if you want to defend yourself, the more you know and practice about it, the better.

Hope you will find the video useful. When they fight with others, they wear gloves and guards to avoid injury. That's good. In some martial arts, when you fall down on the ground, they let you get up and then fight.

From 4:22 to 4:28 Minutes

What caught my attention in the fight is, one guy slips and falls down on the ground, the opponent moves forward and starts attacking. This is what happens in real life. If somehow you fall on the ground, the attacker will not stop, he will keep attacking you more. You have to defend yourself and get up fast.

When the guy falls on the ground, the opponent starts attacking, he also attacks his opponent from there. This is what we have to do in order to defend ourselves. Never give up. If you fall on the ground, that's not the end. So face your opponent.

Thank you so much for reading this post and watching the video. If you like martial arts and want to learn more about self-defense, please stay tuned. I'll keep sharing.
