Maradona's historic jersey returns to Argentina
Lothar Mathews returned the jersey Argentina swapped with Diego Maradona in the 1986 World Cup final. Argentina celebrate the return of the legend's jersey. Mathews was also thanked by the country's Football Association (AFA).
Argentina beat Germany 3-2 in the final at Mexico's Azteca Stadium to win their second and last World Cup title 36 years ago. The jersey Maradona wore to score the 'Hand of God' goal in the quarter-final against England was sold at auction earlier this year. 71 million pounds. The jersey was auctioned off by former English midfielder Steve Hodge.
Mathews also had the chance to auction off the Maradona jersey. But the German legend told the Daily Mail he never thought of pocketing the money by selling Maradona jerseys.

মাথেউসের সামনেও সুযোগ ছিল Maradona জার্সি নিলামে তোলার। কিন্তু এই জার্মান কিংবদন্তি ডেইলি মেইলকে বলেছিলেন, Maradona জার্সি বিকিয়ে পকেট ভারি করার কথা কখনও ভাবেননি তিনি।
