Financial budget of a fiscal year of a country is very important. Seeing a budget of a country you can imagine about the financial condition of a country. What is budget? Budget is a calclation of revenue and expenditure of a people, group, company, institute or country for specific future period of time. That means, budget is a estimation of income and outcome of money of for a specific period. Budget of a country for a fiscal year is very important. In Bangladesh, every year in june our Minister of finance present the budget for the upcoming fiscal year. Today I will discuss about the budget of Bangladesh for 2021-2022 fiscal year.
In 03 june of this year, our Minister of finance has presented our budget for upcoming year. Our finance Minister AHM Musfata Kamal pserented a budget of TK 603,681 crore on the assembly and proposed to pass it. This budget is 3rd time for AHM Mustafa Kamal and 50th time in history of Bnagladesh.
Among this money, he allocated TK 378,357 crore for expenditure of the upcoming year and the rest of the money for development purpose. But the main thing to focus is that he can't show how to earn so much money. He has shown revenue of TK 389,000 crore from tax and all other income. And the rest of money is deficit. And taking loan from different source is the only way to fulfill the deficit he had able to show. This deficit is almost 6.5 % of the gross domestic product.
Now this is pandemic time. And even this year, Bnagladesh can't decrease their budget. This budget is loan dependent budget. So many financial experts have critisized this budget. Bangladesh has a big amount of loan already. So there are no logic to present such loan dependent budget this year even in this pandemic time, they said.
